Description is ADAT Toslink, but I've read that ADAT and Toslink are incompatible. Will these work on ADAT connections?
ADAT refers to the standard for the transfer of digital audio between professional equipment, using the same lighpipe and Toslnk connecters used for consumer digital audio tansfer. The two protocals are what are incompatible, not the hardware. For example, you cannot connect the optical digital output of your TV,into the ADAT port of an audio interface and expect audio to be transferred. . But the cable and connectors used are the same.
