The Fujinon S20X6.4BEMDHS is an industrial video conferencing lens for Sony cameras. It incorporates the dual hot-shoe feature that sends lens status information to a viewfinder or a monitor. In addition to the very high quality of the lens, it is internal focusing like all good production lenses, it also has a built-in doubler. With the flip of a switch, the lens doubles its focal length at any point in the zoom range. At its longest zoom of 172 mm, the doubler produces a focal length of 344 mm to get the shots that other lenses could never get. As all the Fujinon video conferencing lenses, the S20X6.4BEMDHS can interface with the three control boxes that offer several levels of remote controllability.

Fujinon S20x6.4 Overview
Video Conferencing Remote Control
With the use of any of the Fujinon remote control units, the S16X7.3BMDPJ can fit a remotely controlled and monitored CCTV pan-and-tilt system. This lens is particularly suited for the highest quality industrial cameras with a bayonet mount.
Hot Shoe Function
Sony has given their cameras the feature of reading lens status right through a camera viewfinder or a monitor. The lens must therefore have hot shoe or electronic contacts to send the information from the lens. The S20X6.4BEMDHS has these contacts. If mounted on another brand camera without this feature, the hot contacts are unused.
Integral 2x Extender
For instant close-up images, the lens has a switch on the lens that inserts an element that doubles the focal length at any point in the zoom range. Instead of using the zoom function the extender gives immediate close up images.
