Can I use old Marantz receiver:2230 with 30W RMS per channel ?
These speakers require much more power than 30 watts. I would recommend the Bose 161 Full-Range Bookshelf Speakers (Black, Pair), BH #BO161B, which can handle 10 to 100 watts.

question
what type of Amplifier is suitable for these speakers?
I'm currently using an older NAD amplifier (110volt), 100+ watts to power these speakers. They are mounted to the underside of my exterior soffit above our patio and about 10' apart. They sound amazing and I also bought the 4.2 pair for the adjacent porch.
