Manfrotto 297BBASE Overview

The Mafrotto 297B Wheeled Stand Base is suitable for mounting light or heavy-weighted fixtures close to the floor or ground. It has a Junior (1-1/8") female receptor for larger fixtures, and a Baby (5/8") stud for smaller fixtures. It folds for easy transport and storage.

This model has 1 leveling leg -- it extends and locks into place, for sure support on uneven surfaces.

great for using with Wind Machine

I bought it for using with a big Wind Machine and I'm really happy! Being WM really heavy - approx 11Kg - I was in need of a sturdy and large based stand and it works fine. Wheels action is really smooth also on my Studio's hardwood floor and they doesn't leave any sign on it. A plus is you can fold legs after use and that help saving space in the spare room. If you need to arrange your fan to higher level, I suggest to buy also the Manfrotto 142 cs steel extension pole. All in all the whole sistem is a bit pricey but is the best for using with heavy and expensive gear
