Beautifully made 3 pieces of plastic with springs. Fits a 46mm thread? Yes. BUT If you have a 35mm Summilux with a hood, it's too big to fit inside the hood (and... it doesn't have to be) The cap Leica provides that attaches to the hood (also ridiculously expensive for a single piece of Polypropylene) falls of very easily and doesn't even seal the hood off from dust and elements. I'm going to try a sigma cap, and see if that works (for $6 instead of $49)
I would buy product again and recommend to friends
