The Leica APO-Elmarit-R f/2.8 180mm offers serious Leica photographers a fast high-performance telephoto lens which can be used for portraits, fashion, sports or landscape photography and which meets the highest demands in all conditions.
This version has now been redesigned to work with both the 1.4x and 2x tele-extenders. The option to employ the Leica APO-Extender-R 1.4x or 2x produces an effective 252mm f/4 or 360mm f/5.6 lens. The superb image quality remains largely unchanged even in the case of this combination resulting in an optical system with up to twice the focal length.
This lens also features internal focusing. The length of the lens and its balance in the user's hand remains constant during refocusing.
Usable with Leicaflex cameras if serviced by a Leica facility.
