The PSC Cart Power distribution system features a built-in 12 Volt 8 Amp power supply and is a convenient way of distributing 12 V DC power to variety of devices from a single rechargeable battery. In addition, each output of the Cart Power distributor contains a custom designed filtering network, pioneered by PSC to eliminate unwanted system noise often caused by intermodulation of DC to DC converters in the connected equipment.
The six filtered outputs of the Cart Power are protected by a Raychem Polyswitch resettable fuse, and may be simultaneously powered from both an external battery and from its built in AC supply. Battery backup is possible, and automatic. The connectors are of a standard 4-Pin XLR type, and the unit is housed in a tight, rugged casing of die-cast aluminum construction.
