ProMax 6800 Overview

The lightweight SteadyTracker UltraLite stabilizing system, designed for handheld, body-supported, and self-supported use, gives you the ability to shoot subject matter that is impossible to shoot otherwise. Take amazing footage as you walk, run, travel upstairs, or even out of a moving car. Expand the creativity of your production by engaging the viewers when making them a part of the action.

It allows you can accelerate and decelerate when panning, quickly start/stop, reverse directions while flying, tilt smoothly at the start or end of a boom, or dutch off the axis during a flying move.

SteadyTracker gets the shots that get the jobs. Impress your clients, impress your friends, impress yourself. Produce the best camerawork that you are capable.

Full Motion Control
Dreamy floating motion shots opens up a new dimension of shooting style. The 3-axis balance, extended mass, and inertia, takes out unprofessional camera shakes, bumps and wobbles without taking away control (balance means nothing without control). Lets you smoothly move the camera, just like they do in feature films.
One Handed Operation
With its low wrist torque, it gives you true one hand operation, even change hands for some really long shots. No cumbersome wrist supports or body vests are necessary.
5 Different Shooting Modes
  • Handheld
When hand held smoothly circle around your subject, dutching, booming, and tilting on the fly, changing angles and framing just like in music videos. You can do chase scenes, go up and down stairs, jump off walls, go over picnic tables, follow people in cars, shoot weddings, receptions, love stories, sports, documentaries, choirs, plays, etc.
  • Body Mounted
When body mounted it rests on your leg letting you zoom and focus with a heads up position with both eyes free to monitor or look for new scenes. Pull it up to your body with your eye against the viewfinder for traditional zooming style shots.
  • Periscope Mode
Imitate some crane type shots, lift it up on your shoulder and shoot over people's heads while looking in the color monitor for perfect framing.
  • Self Supported
When self supported you can tilt and pan "monopod style" from the floor or the edge of a table.
  • Tripod Mode
Set it up like a tripod and get in the shot yourself. This lets you completely rest as you think of your next shot.
Quick and easy set up
Set-up, balance and use within 7 minutes or less. With the twist of one knob the camera is on or off the top of the SteadyTracker. Balance and rebalance when adding or removing accessories using sliding adjustments, no weights to mess with. Balance is so simple that the two step instructions are printed right on the device.
Entire unit breaks down to a 24 x 6 x 4 inch package for travel.
