Superior quality!

Lightware cases have been a part of my professional journey for almost 30 years. I still have one of their long soft cases i bought in 1997 and it's constantly filled with heavy stands and other grip equipment. No defects whatsoever. This case will likely outlive your career. Highly recommend!!!

The Rolls Royce of equipment cases.

Lightware has been the pro's choice for years. Make the investment and know your equipment will be well protected for years to come. I use this bag for all my stands. I can fit a background set up, 2 heavy duty stands with breakaway crossbar as well as three more medium size light stands. And it's still got a little room for clamps and tape. I also have the 2316 Shokbox for my strobes. Love Lightware!

Does this meet standard checked baggage size for flights?

Unfortunately Lightware C6042 42" Cargo Case, Padded (Black) is a few inches larger than the size allowed in most flights, but I would recommend checking with your airline because what is allowed varies a lot between airlines and also you may be able to pay extra to have them check it.

question

Hi,I am looking for a cargo case that will handle the impact turtle base c-stand kit. Would this C6052 work? it seems a bit on the small side. Please advise asap. Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, that will fit. The C stand you are referring to is designed with a removable base. So with that it will fit in the case.

Why are the interior dimensions of the C6052 52" ...

Why are the interior dimensions of the C6052 52" case smaller than the interior dimensions of the C6050 50" case? Shouldn't they be longer since it is 2" longer? Or is that a misprint in the specs.
Asked by: Robert
The dimensions are correct. The Lightware C6052, 52 is the outside dimension. The C6050 50" case is longer.

question

Would you trust the protection for checking this with two tripods inside?
Asked by: Brian
Yes, we usually use this as a stand, soft box, tripod bag. We tend to put the tripod in another protective bag within the Lightware case because we have a full bag and fly with these bags all the time.

question

Can I store c-stands in this?
Asked by: Ben C.
It'll depend on how short the stand breaks down. I can just barely fit the grip arm (that measures a little under 42 ) in the bag. it has to go in diagonally to fit. I'd say 40 is the maximum length things can be without needing to jam them in.

question

How many C-Stands (turtle base) would this case be comfortable in handling? Will it handle the weight of 3 Avenger C-Stands (with arms)?
Asked by: Diego
I reckon it would. Its a bloody heavy duty bag. It would more be if you could lift it or not
