Mangler is based on the effects found in the KSP8, Kurzweil's flagship multi-channel effects processor, and offer easy-to-use effect presets for any environment. The unit is housed in a single rack enclosure and features 192 effects presets, 64 locations for user-created presets, balanced stereo analog inputs and outputs, S/PDIF digital I/O and pre-effect EQ.
The processor focuses on effects other than (but not excluding) reverb. These include chorus, phaser, tremolo, rotary speaker, panner, delay, filters, LaserVerb, Pitcher synthesizer trigger, ring modulation, distortion, compression effects, as well as many combinations.
