Epson 54 reviews

Photo Black Ink Cartridge is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just one of eight . . . I recently ordered, for the second or third time, eight ink cartridges for my Epson R1800 printer. The process was simple and easy, with everything I needed in stock. With my account information already established the purchase was completed in minimal time and although ordered just under the Friday deadline for ordering, I still had my cartridges on Tuesday. I think that is excellent service. The Epson cartridges are all I have ever used in my R1800 and even after sometimes long idle times, there is minimal clogging. The colors for both matte and luster papers are excellent, I only wish the cartridges were larger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To be continued? I have the Epson R1800 printer. Epson inks look amazing on: glossy paper, matte paper, watercolor paper, and all types of canvas. I shoot and print many different types of photos. Landscapes, portraits, abstracts, fractals, etc. It's cheaper to buy a whole set rather than cartridges one at a time. In an emergency, I'd buy from office supply stores. Afterwards, I always felt violated. Ink prices at those places are ridiculous! However, these stores no longer carry ink for my printer. I wonder how long Epson will manufacture this ink. Sounds like its almost time for me to upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ink I use this ink in an Epson R1800 printer. The color is outstanding. I only have clogs when the printer goes for an extended period without being used Even then I've never had one to take more than two automatic cleanings to clear and most of the time it only takes one. Prints made on Epson luster paper will match most any printer Don't bother with third party inks. The color won't be as good and clogging is a real problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Epson inks hold up very well. I purchased an Epson R1800 printer a few years ago becuase I wasn't happy with the cost and quality of the prints done at the local shops. Besides having more control over color and other options, the prints done with the Epson inks have resisted fading and color change as good as or better than the the commercial prints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works good for my needs I have an older model Epson (R1800) which stills produces a high quality print for my personal and business needs. Not many choices I'm aware of for purchasing ink...Epson is a bit pricey. The best attribute for this product is the low price and ease of purchasing through B&H Photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy the Name Brand Only! I once tried reusable ink cartridges to save money, but it ruined my printer. Never again. These inks are specifically made for this printer, so don't go cheap, not with this or you'll be buying a new printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great price for a great but pricy ink Epson printers print great photos. Pigment based, Kodak quality, the best on the market. But... not cheap. This printer uses an 8 cartridge set. BH has a good price on these Epson cartridges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson Inks are Superior I'm a proffesional photographer and I have been using Epson Ink for several years and it is always consistent in the rendition of photos. I would not use any other ink.
