Beyerdynamic Opus 99 Low-Frequency Dynamic Cardioid Microphone

The Opus 99 Low Frequency Instrument Microphone is optimized to capture double bass, bass cabinets, tuba and of course kick drums with pristine detail, low noise and no distortion.

The Opus 99 features a neodymium magnet capsule and sensitive diaphragm for high headroom and low distortion. The capsule also features a hypercardioid polar pattern that maximizes gain and eliminates off-axis noise and feedback. An optional kick drum stand (ST 99) allows the Opus 99 to be mounted at the bass of the kick drum, however the microphone is supplied with the MKV 99 microphone stand clamp.
