Mackie TT24 Overview

The Mackie TT24 sound reinforcement digital console provides an integrated mixing solution for the live sound engineer. With features such as total recall, built-in effects, built-in dynamics processing and endless signal routing possibilities, the TT24 provides the convenience of a digital recording console without sacrificing the inputs necessary for sound reinforcement.

The rear panel provides 24 balanced XLR microphone inputs and 24 1/4" TRS Phone line level inputs (balanced or unbalanced switched). An additional 8 1/4" TRS line inputs are automatically routed to the return section and provide adequate effects returns or additional line inputs. Inserts on all channels allow routing to external signal processing gear and monitors. The output section features L/R stereo and mono output for routing to subs or center channels.

The TT24 features plenty of digital I/O with 24 channels of ADAT optical, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF stereo I/O built-in. Two I/O expansion slots are provided for future routing flexibility. Of course the luxury of any digital console is the ability to eliminate excessive outboard gear. The console features an 24-bit 96kHz effects processor engine and full EQ and dynamics processing on every channel. The Mackie TT24 digital console is an integrated mixing solution for the touring sound reinforcement engineer or fixed installation in venues such as theaters, clubs, arenas, etc.

Plenty of Analog I/O
The console features 24 XLR microphone inputs and 1/4" line inputs, 8 inputs dedicated for AUX returns and inserts on all channels.
Built-In Digital I/O
24-channels of ADAT optical I/O is standard. The stereo digital I/O feature AES/EBU and S/PDIF connections. Word Clock I/O is provided over BNC connectors.
Extensive Internal DSP
Internal DSP processing includes dynamics and 4 band EQ on every channel. An internal effects engine provides professional level 24-bit reverb, delays, chorusing, phasing, distortion effects and more.
Touch Screen
The user friendly architecture includes an intuitive touch screen that allows for quick and easy maneuvering in dark venues.
AUX Mode
The TT24's AUX Mode feature allows the TT24 faders to operate as Aux Send levels, while Group faders become Aux Send masters. This allows the TT24 to function as a front-of-house console or monitor mixer.
Flexible Group Assignment
Flex Groups is a feature exclusive to the TT24. The feature consists of 8 groups that are individually configurable to mono, stereo and VCA grouping. 8 faders are dedicated to grouping, eliminating the need to assign faders.
Internal Matrix Mixer
An internal Matrix Mixer enables sub mixes of any source to be routed via the group outputs. This feature is ideal for routing sub-mixes to green rooms, cry rooms, monitor feeds, etc.
High Resolution and Internal Digital Processing
The console features 24-bit 96kHz resolution and 32-bit floating point processing.
PC Interface and TT Software
A USB port allows direct integration with an external PC and the provided TT software (windows) enables remote operation of all the TT24's functions via computer.
Motorized Faders
The 100mm faders are motorized and the LED ring-encoded V-Pots allow control over software pots.
Expandability
The TT24 provides 2 expansion card slots for additional I/O, future effects cards, and tandem operation cards.
