Lightware Podpack Reviews
Exceeds All My Expectations
I am a long-time Lightware user, owning no fewer than a dozen cases over the span of my photo career, and I've always used tripod/stand/lightbox bags from manufacturers other than Lightware. WHAT A MISTAKE! Immediately after unboxing this bag, the first thing I noticed was that its material is just as strong as that which covers all Lightware's cases. This case has two internal protected sleeves, allowing for the protection of umbrellas and lightboxes, away from heavier items like tripods and light stands. I also like the particular length of this bag (nominally 39-40 inches), which accomodates almost all my location light stands and lightboxes. Finally, this is a piece of gear built to last, designed to do its job above and beyond one's expectations, and still priced within reach of most photographers. As the old adage says: You get what you pay for, and I recommend this bag to everyone, without reservation.

Lightware as a brand is first class. The durability and quality is amazing. I use this as my go bag when only a few stands + are needed. I also use it to carry three rather large Bogen auto leg 3051 tripods with Arca-Swiss heads. It's probably better with only two but it's a great bag with surprising capacity. The 15' Bogen convertible stands are too long but they poke just a little out the end. Nice light bag with good general use. Holds it's shape well and still looks good after several years of service. LW is fantastic pro gear. I love the look and the appearance of LW as a set/brand once on the job. It just adds to my professional appearance.
