The Nalpak TP-1243WH 12" Tuffpak Series Hard Tripod Case with Wheels (Black) is an 12" octagonal case that will snugly hold a tripod with a length of 43-48" and up to a 150mm ball head. Each case is made from rotationally molded cross-linked polyethylene. The process takes nearly 45 minutes per case and produces a durable tripod case. The tripod case comes with 2.0" of foam in the lid and the base to protect the equipment. The foam in the lid is glued in and the foam in the base (which is protected from the feet of the tripod by a plastic disk) is held in place by detents that are molded into the base of each case. The case is carried by a molded-in handle.The case is carried by a molded in handle and transported by built-in 2.0" recessed wheels.

I travel with camera and tripod and rely on protection from rough handling from airport and delivery personnel. My last tripod protective case was actually damaged by the delivery service. It looked like it had been run over with a semi. The Tuffpak Series Hard Tripod Case with Wheels by Nalpak has not failed to give my tripod, light stands, and various other pieces of equipment the protection they need. The soft plastic construction gives it rigidity yet isn't heavy. The wheels are the best feature which make it more mobile through long hauls at the airport.

Used this to carry tripods, stands, cords & cables and other small lighting equipment for air travel. Thought it would come lined entirely with 2 of foam on all sides. However, the foam is only at the top and bottom. Was able to find a local foam company to fit the inside diameter with 1 of foam and now it's perfect!
