I bougth the MKZ3 to be modified to be used on an external battery pack and my Olympus FL-50R flash. I am a photographer for the Fire Department and I shoot a lot of night scenes and double A batteries were not cutting it in my flash. Fits well in flash and stays in place.

How do you attach the Quantum Instruments MKZ3to the Canon 550EX battery compartment? As it looks like the battery door wouldn't close unless you modified the plastic

You have to notch the plastic on the battery door or use duckt tape.
