Protective Screen for Omni-light (Replacement) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive Safety Measure but WORKS It's an added measure on your lights in case a bulb exploded...I guess. The first time that I used this, it smelled up my entire studio. Must be a coating on the metal that burned off. The mesh DID turn a brown color too but I expect that with the heat my 650W head produces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, well made, typically lasts for several years Clips firmly into place, is an absolute must have for protecting you (and talent) from exploding bulbs. Also protects bulb from everyday bumps. As always, it's more expensive that I'd like. But no knockoff options are available that I'm aware of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps people from burning their fingers! It seems like you wouldn't have to save people from themselves, but at times you do. Don't want a law suite, cover your globes. Plus fingerprints ruin their life. This acts as a scrim and reduces light output by 30%. So bear that in mind. Cheers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Burns easily This cover does not attached properly: it must be bent to attempt to attach it to an Omni light. Other than that, it works. One thing I don't like is that the shiny silver screen turns burn brown and blue after 10 minutes. Does the job.
