Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product at a great price I use this product to secure my profoto light heads when hanging on the end of a boom. I've also recently done a film shoot with the 5D Mk2 where I used this safety chain to secure the camera when mounted in risky positions. There's not much to say about this product really. I guess there's not much you can get wrong with such a product, but I will say that the price compared to similar items was great. The cable itself is quite slim, and while it will secure cameras and profoto heads quite well, I would probably be hesitant to use it for heavier monoblocks etc

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for Lightweight Gear These safety cables are good for lightweight gear. The description does not mention a load rating, which is a shame. I bought a few of these and figured I'd see how they were. I would not use these for things more than a few pounds. The cable is very thin and the clips are small. You are not going to be safety chaining lekos or large flash heads with these! These will do fine for my cheapo lightweight LED PAR56 lights, but that's about it. There's nothing bad about these, just remember only use them for lightweight stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Use but HANDY I have purchased so many brands of safety cables that would attached properly to my studio lights because they were too thick. These have a thin wire and could probably support up to 10lbs I would think. I use them for so many temporary rigging jobs, setting up for video shoots. I wish I could trade in all of my other thicker safety cables for more of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for light duty They seem to be well made and are relatively inexpensive. I used these as safety cables for monolights. The end of these threads through the umbrella holder. The attached clip makes it easy to secure. I would not recommend these for heavy equipment but they were more than strong enough for a monolight with a small softbox (hairlight with strip box).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but crucial Needed to put together a small virtual set for one of our high school installations. Using this item along with the Reflectmedia pop up background and lite-ring has yielded some of the best looking chroma-key work I've ever done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lowel Safety Cable Great option for remote camera safety cable, right gage for camera strap eyelet, small wide-angle lens, wireless trigger, etc. Three pack is just right as usually need two or three cables for each installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety Cable Cheap, Reliable, Safe. If you are rigging hot lights, film lights, or strobe and need to back it up with an extra safety, this is the cord for you. Its a cheap and economic bundle pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good light weight cables I was expecting a thicker cable, these are much thinner than the others we have, but these will work just fine since most of our lighting instruments are 20 lbs or less.
