Can this ceiling trim Kit be used for Draper Signature V screens?

This kit cannot be used. Draper recommends only 3/8 (9.5mm)-16 threaded rods, made by others.

Can this be used as a universal in- ceiling mount for other projector screens?

It is designed for Da-Lite screens only.
