According to Sennheiser, yes you can.
Directly from Sennheiser:
The L 2015 quick-charging unit automatically recharges two Sennheiser BA 2015 batteries. The batteries are either inserted directly into the charger or remain in their bodypack transmitters/receivers of the evolution wireless G3 100, 300 and 500 Series, 2000 Series, Tourguide SK 2020-D and EK 1039.

Can I use normal NiMH rechargeable batteries instead of the Sennheiser BA 2015G2 Rechargeable Battery Pack? (Eneloop AA's are what we currently use in external chargers)
No. It is only for the Sennheiser Evolution wireless microphone series rechargeable batteries (BA 2015).

charging error/blinking red lights?
Mike adapter doesn't seat properly. It is a continuous problem unfortunately. I'm not impressed with the system.
