Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole 2 Overview

The 432-2.7B Short Deluxe Autopole 2 from Manfrotto, with a black aluminum finish, mounts between the floor and ceiling of a studio with a larger, stronger spring-lock handle than a standard Autopole. If the studio ceiling is higher than 8.8', then Autopole bases, extensions, or the standard-sized Autopole 2 may be ordered separately.

Autopoles support backgrounds, lights, and grip arms with the addition of Super Clamps, hooks, and crossbars.

There is no assembly required, and it is easy to install. It's a great way to add a way to hang video equipment. I'm using it to create a flat lay video setup in my office. It feels very secure and I am very happy with my purchase.

Should've bought these a long time ago. I've used these as camera and lighting mounts in tight quarters such as elevators and bathrooms where there just isn't much room to maneuver. Easy to use and very stable. I also use a pair of them with speedrail and cross ties to place overhead lights in the right spot without having stands in the way. No damage to surfaces though they do exert a certain amount of pressure. Heard a loud flexing pop when releasing from a metal ceiling plate in an elevator, so do consider the surfaces you are working with. Not safe to use without the strap on spirit level. $7.00. They should just come with them. Caveat: The medium pole is about 8' at minimum extension so keep that in mind with regard to transportation. Very light weight.

No, the Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole 2 Kit (Black, Pair, 82.7-145.7") is not compatible or recommended for use with vaulted ceilings.

No, there are no clamps included with the purchase of the Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole 2 Kit (Black, Pair, 82.7-145.7"). If clamps are needed, they must be purchased separately. The Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp with Standard Stud, B&H # MA035RL, or the Impact Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle, B&H # IMCC106R, would be popular clamps for use with the above autopoles.

The Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole 2 (Black, 6.8-12.1') is different than version 1 by being a bit thinner in diameter and featuring an improved locking mechanism.
