Roland FANTOM-XR Overview

The Roland Fantom-XR is a rackmount sampling synthesizer module, featuring a flagship stereo-sampled split piano sound, with individual samples of the full 88 keys.

The Fantom-XR is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD display, 128-voice polyphonic capability, a full-featured onboard sample editor with sample import, realtime audio time-stretching, COSM sound modeling effects and mastering processing.

Roland has supplied the Fantom-XR with a USB port for cross-platform file transfer to a computer, and full WAV and AIFF file compatibilty. Additionally, the unit is equipped with six expansion slots, with access to Roland's SRX sound library, and a PC Card slot for storage of up to a GB of sound.

The Fantom-XR is equipped with an arsenal of creative and performance tools for the stage or studio, and is available for a very reasonable price.
