There's nothing else that does the job as well, as far as I know. I've tried a few alternatives but none have been as easy to use and robust as this one. I had no difficulty tightening it enough to securely hold an MKH30 / MKH60 / Rycote blimp setup.

This is the best, if only, piece of equipment that does what it does. Make sure you have a tiny flathead around, as you'll have to constantly tighten the bolt that connects the two main pieces. you may also want to replace the tightening screws with those like Rycote makes.
