I have a bunch of Acratech plates for my older film cameras. They are well built and function flawlessly. For people looking at this plate I wanted to add that it fits the Pentax 645N and 645N II. I own both and the plate works on the top and side mount without issue.

You'll probably want to buy two, since the 645 cameras have that second tripod mount on the side. You may want to consider the Acratech 2168 as an alternative as it will have the slide running across the width of the camera, instead of inline with the lens like this one.
