Matrox PH-A8X128-V Overview

The Matrox Parhelia AGP-8X 128MB Graphics Display Card delivers high-quality multi-display support, allowing for multiple DVI-I/SVGA monitor combinations plus a tv-out via the included HD-15 to composite video adapter. In addition, 128MB of DDR memory, AGP-8X technology and support for high-performance 2D and 3D applications make the Parhelia AGP-8X a viable option for both non-linear editing and digital content creation.

Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 8X/4X
AGP-compatible video cards augment their on-board memory with your computer's existing memory, vastly improving performance when used for high-volume data streams, such as in graphics processing and streaming video. The Parhelia AGP-8X supports AGP-8X and AGP-4X, enabling it to access the system memory up to 8 times faster than standard AGP.
128MB Double Data Rate (DDR) Memory
This 128MB DDR on-board memory is used primarily for frame buffering.
Triple Display Support
The Parhelia AGP-8X supports a three-monitor SVGA array, dual-monitor DVI-I array, two-monitor SVGA array plus composite video/S-video out or a single-monitor DVI-I plus composite video/S-video out.

(SVGA display requires included DVI-I to HD-15 adapters)
(Video-out requires included DVI-I to HD-15 to S-Video adapter)
Optimized Software Support
Optimized drivers offer full support for OpenGL, AutoCAD 2002/2004/2005, Windows, as well as many other leading CAD and DCC software applications.
Maximum Resolution
The Parhelia AGP-8X is capable of a maximum resolution of 2048x1536.
WYSIWYG Video Output
WYSIWYG video output plug-ins enhance digital content creation applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, Discreet 3D Studio Max and NewTek Lightwave 3D 7.5.
