Can I use diffusion fabrics that are elasticated on the corners with this frame? Or just slip ons? Thank you
As long as the dimensions of the fabrics are made to fit a 48"x48" frame they will work.

do advantage 4x4 scrims fit properly on this frame? i've seen frame that are slightly larger and won't accept the slip ons...
Unfortunately, Advantage 4 x 4 scrims have not been tested to our knowledge with this Matthews frame. Your results may vary.

What shipping box dimensions? It's disassembled?
This frame comes fully assembled already and the dimensions of it in its original packing are 55 long x 49 wide x .75 high.

Just to clarify, is it possible to break this down, or is it a permanent piece?
No it doesn't break down, it's a welded frame with the fabric sewn over the edges the same as a standard 4x4 but with the additional piece of 4x4 velcro'd in place along one edge to allow it to fold out to a total of 8x4 - very handy - can be used like an 8x4 gobo or hung at a 90 deg angle to for example provide shade over a camera or gobo/shade a model on top and to one side. I have two that live perminently in my location van, love them!
