    Smith-Victor Titan 3000 reviews

Titan 3000 Imperial Deluxe Tripod with 2-Way Fluid Head is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Alternative to Expensive Tripods Fo the price, this tripod has performed quite well. It's stable, easy to set up and smooth, though I wish the elevation crank on the center post was more heavy duty. Feels like it's going to snap when I turn it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not smooth vertical motion Just got this tripod for use with a five lb spotting scope. Pan motion is smooth enough but the vertical motion is anything but. I often lose what I'm viewing when following a moving target due to jerky motion. I called the company to see why and they flatly admitted to me that it's just not that smooth. Certainly wish I'd known that. Other than that however it seems very well built but I cannot recommend this product. Especially for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for classroom They are pretty good for classroom use. They are relatively inexpensive, and I've been buying the same ones for years so when the students do damage them I have a very nice parts supply
