This is inexpensive, yet it works. Mounted on my Televue 85 it allows for easy polar alignment. It is designed for and by Televue. You mount it and use it. There are no lateral or vertical adjustments. I find that is a bit aggravating, but not sufficient to be a concern. My ZWO mount and software compensates.
Basic red dot finder - no brightness control - too bright.

This is a basic red dot finder. There is no magnification, just the straight through view, and you are supposed to put the red dot on the object you wish to view in order to get your scope pointing at that object. All this is the basic function of the red dot finder. The problem I have with this particular model is that the red dot is only on or off, and when it is on, it is far too bright and overwhelms whatever faint object you are trying to sight on. This finder works as advertised, but it could be much better if it had a brightness control.
