Designed to support flying butterflies, overheads, and large backdrops, the steel-constructed chrome Medium Overhead Roller Stand from Matthews rises to a maximum height of 14', has a minimum working height of 64", and can handle gear weighing up to 88 lb. The four-section stand has a wide 60" footprint for stability, and non-marking, braked, locking casters to make positioning and repositioning easy. The stand is topped by a 4.5" grip head with 3/8" and 5/8" holes, and which employs a 1 1/8" Junior receiver for lights or other equipment with a matching pin.

Has anyone used this light stand outdoors? Will it roll well on grass?
Yes. The unit rolls better on grass then most wheel on the market, but we highly suggest using 4x8 plywood for best movement when on grass or rail system.
