Matthews Junior Stand Double Riser Reviews
Owned 4 of these for 35 years
Not only are these stands functionally great, but they stand the test of time. I've had 4 of these for over 35 years and they've never needed any attention or repair except for the rare and occasional tightening of a couple of bolts and dealing with one sticky wheel lock. When you think of a light stand, these are what you should see in your mind's eye. They are made like tanks and, as long as you don't abuse them - which is quite hard to do - they work the way they should, almost indefinitely. These stands, like the old Mole Richardson gear, are the last of the dying embers of the great American manufacturing and tech from the now fragmenting Hollywood movie industry. Consider yourself lucky to have one or more of these.
