The mic is perfect the podium we have. I just had to install the holder with the supplied screws after drilling a hole. The mic is adjustable for any speaker. It could use a better instruction manual for installation purposes, however.

Can i plug this mic into an existing base that has a female XLR input? The base is a Astatic brand. But has XLR input.
Asked by: Nathan
Yes, the Samson CM20P Gooseneck Podium Microphone can be used with a desktop base that has a female XLR input, such as the Astatic 40117 Portable Desk Base for Gooseneck Microphones (B&H # AS40117) or the Senal CXBS-1 Desktop Base for Gooseneck Microphones (B&H # SECXBS1). As long as the base is intended for use with a gooseneck microphone, the brand is not a concern.

question

Hello, if we get this mic, do i need anything more to install it on a table?
Asked by: Anonymous
I installed it in a podium. I had to drill a hole to install the insert for the mic and ran the cable underneath. The mic then plugs into the cable when you put it in the holder.
