Inkpress Media PhotoChrome RC Reviews
So far so good!
This paper seems to be comparable with Canon Satin 240gsm but a little less expensive. I don’t have a lot of experience yet with printer paper. I am just coming out of the darkroom and coming over to the light side….
A bit disappointed
It was my first time I ordered this paper and I have to say I will not purchase it again. I thought I would give it a try and see how it compares to Epson Luster I usually get. Epson wins hands down. When you check the specs they are almost the same. But that almost makes a BIG difference. The finish is more profound on the Epson paper than on the Inkpress. Inkpress has more of a satin finish. I do understand that it is more of a personal preference. However, it should be stated so. The paper also feels cheap. More like a proofing paper than anything else. That makes me think about how long the colors will actually last. I am pretty aware that neither of them are archival however I do not want to be reprinting orders I receive after just a couple of years... On top of it there is almost no price difference between the Epson and the Inkpress. So I'd rather go back to Epson next time. I do have more confidence in that one.
