The silver SP01 Spider Shock Mount from Samson is a professional, studio grade shock mount for the Samson C01, C03, CL7, CL8, C01U, C01U Pro, and C03U condenser microphones. It can be used to help isolate the microphone from vibrations and eliminate mechanical noises when capturing audio in applications for live stage, theater, recording studios, broadcast TV, and more.

The Spider Shock Mount will fit a standard microphone stand with a 5/8" thread.

This shock mount is made for specific Samson microphones. I would suggest using the appropriate shock mount, which is the Neumann EA87 - U87 Shock Mount for U87 Microphones (Nickle), BH #NEEA87.

What is the thread size or thread kind that the microphone screws into slit can work with the shock mount. Not the mic stand thread.

The threading provided in the shockmount to mount the mic is not standardized and in many cases is model dependent. These are not universal mounts. The SP-01 mount is designed to be used with select Samson mics including the C01, C03, CL7, CL8, C01U, C01U Pro and C03U.

The Samson SP-01 is designed to be used with large diaphragm condensers that have a threaded bottom. The C414 features a cylindrical base that will not be compatible. the C414 is commonly used with AKG's H85 mount.

The Samson SP01 Spider Shock Mount will not fit a Blue Ember. The Samson spider mount is only for Samson condenser microphones.

No, the SP01 does not work with the Blue Yeti Nano. At this time, Blue does not offer a shockmount for the Yeti Nano and we do not have another shockmount by any manufacturer that we can confidently offer as a compatible accessory for use with the Yeti Nano.

Will a Nady SCM-960 fit in this shock mount?

I asked this question after placing my order. I'm happy to report that my Nady SCM-960 does have threads and it fits perfectly with the SP01 shock mount. This is interesting because in the photos of the Nady SCM-960 it doesn't appear to have threads. It also came with a mic holder.

The SP01 does fit a number of condenser microphones but there is not a universal diameter. Although it will most likely work, we cannot guarantee exact compatibility. Sorry we could not be more specific.
