I’ll be using this stand mainly for indoor shoot. Without external factors, it meets my need for holding backdrops. It’s stable and tall enough for tall clients and wider back group. I’m happy with this purchase.

Nice stand at a nice price

This stand is exactly what I expected. It's medium weight at a lightweight price. Everything looks good. It's easy to adjust and set up. I bought it because of the excellent height range, plus the ability to reduce to cross pole width to hold a 54 roll. Everything packs up in a handy carrying bag with separate sections for the tripods and rod. The only problem I encountered with the stand is that one of the clamping collars was missing the screw and nut. This makes the collar only partially effective. This wasn't a big deal for me since I have access to lots of fasteners. But a quality control glitch like this could be irritating for somebody else.

Great value for the price

I am using it for a few backdrops for newborn photography so I have it set to a lower height and it is sturdy enough for what I need. Well built and easy to assemble. You can't beat the price

Adequate

A bit flimsy, but it's a budget stand so mostly to be expected. The legs don't have feet tho, so make sure you don't scratch the floor.

It does the job, but next time I will get more heavy duty

The black bag it arrived in smelled so strong I put it outside to air out for two days. That was a chemical smell. The stand does the job, but next time I will get more heavy duty.

Excellent value with reasonable expectations

I completely agree with the reviews of this product indicating that it is an excellent value. Despite those reviews, I was still surprised that the build quality is as good as it is considering the relatively inexpensive cost. Assembly of the crossbar and attaching it to the stands is easy, intuitive and quick; it's not a problem that there are no instructions. No other assembly is needed. I'm using it for tabletop photography that requires backgrounds that are large enough to be on a roll but small enough that the crossbar is in the two-piece configuration. I'm storing the two-piece crossbar fully assembled, with the stands at their minimum height, and with their legs in their closed position. That takes up little storage space. I'll probably never use the third crossbar piece or the handy carrying case. One of the photos indicates that the metal is bright and shiny. Fortunately, it's actually black with a semi-glossy finish that is closer to a matte finish than a glossy finish. That's ideal for ensuring that there are no unwanted reflections appearing in the image. When the two stands are not being used as part of the background set, they can be used as all light stands can be used . They are durable enough for safely holding lamps, flash units and super clamps wielding reflectors and flags, but at this low price it's understandable that I probably wouldn't trust them with anything as heavy as soft boxes. The product will rarely if ever leave my makeshift studio, so I don't need the durability of a more expensive product that is regularly being taken to and from location.

question

How are the banners attached to the stands?
Asked by: Anne E.
Most banners have that loop on the top and you slide the poles through it. If not, then simply using clamps will work as well.

Since the total width of the cross bar is 8.2', two section put together would equal about 5.5 ft in width.
