I've been using these stands here in the studio for a while now, purchased some lesser quality short stands when these were out of stock but have since gotten more of these. Miles better. Good weight to the base, oozes quality in every regard except the hinge - (but that is the weak link in every single boom stand no?) - while still having a much better hinge than many others.
