question
I have a roku, fire box, and a cable box rca audio to a reciever. I have what I think is the same. I have to get up and manually change sources. Will this do what I want automatically. Also there is sound comming out of these things most of the time, is that a problem?
This device is a mixer so if you have audio coming from your devices most of the time they will all get mixed and will appear at the output. Only works as a set and forget device if the audio to the inputs can be turned off as required.

question
Can this be used in car audio for multiple subwoofer amps .all aready the same wattage
This is not the right device for what your likely trying to accomplish. In car audio your generally trying to split or repeat the same signal. This is designed to take signals from multiple sources and send to a single output. Although not recommended, you could achieve the same results using an RCA Y-adapter.If your that serious about car audio you should be using a electronic crossover with multiple outputs or high-end deck that supports multiple RCA pairs.
