Despite the serrations in the holes, it's hard to keep this gag from sliding on some materials. Works best if mounted on a pin.

Super strong.

This really works well especially paired with a baby pin in my case. You do need to absolutely be careful with this gadget as most of the time you will need to juggle alignment on both sides. If careful using this, it makes a very handy tool

This is a terrific grip head. I use it for attaching my quacker clamp to a short light stand. Well built and easy to use. With it's two sizes of mounting holes, you can just about attach anything to a C-stand or light stand.

I usually use Avenger gag heads, but I saw this one for less money in stock and decided to get one different from my others. The Matthews is not as sleek as the Avenger. In perticular, when rotating one gag clockwise, it will also tighten, whereas on the Avenger I have never noticed this. I am not sure it matters much. It's not as smooth as the Avenger, but functionally, it seems like it will last forever and works fine for my uses without any issues whatsoever, so that's exactly what I wanted.
