I bought two of these for attaching my cinevate slider to studio c-stands for more stability than using the center mount. I drilled 2 new holes 2.5 apart and bought some 1/4-20 bolts and they fit perfectly. The receiver is deep, but fit my 5/8 baby stud perfectly. These are heavy, solid and worked perfectly for my particular usage.
