Looking at the photos, I see only two locking knobs/handles, whereas SH-705E appears to have three. The official description is identical for both. Is this correct?
The items are not exactly identical. While both tripod heads are 3-way pan/tilt heads, the Slik SH-705E 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head is stronger, having a maximum load capacity of 9.9 lbs (4.5 kg), and has a locking knob on the panning axis to lock the panning position in place in addition to the two locking tilt handles. The Slik SH-704E 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head has a lower maximum load capacity of 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg), and while it does have two locking tilt handles, it does not have a locking knob on the panning axis to lock the panning position in place.

question
Does is this pan head compatible with Slik Pro 400DX tripod?
I used it on a SLIK U112 tripod, long out of production. The key was the 1/4 fastener. It swapped right out. And what an improvement: lighter, more compact, and a less delicate shoe locking method. But the killer benefit is.......... the level!
