The RP80 from DigiTech is an amplifier modeling/multi-effects processor designed specifically for the guitar. Inside the floor pedal is an AudioDNA DSP processor, providing eleven guitar amplifier models and a host of other effects, twenty-two in total, for creating a signature sound. The built-in expression pedal can be assigned to control a choice of parameters in real time.
The user interface provides simple, straight forward editing functions. An included drum machine is a great tool for polishing up timing, using different patterns and tempos. And a chromatic tuner allows for quick tuning of the instrument to one of four different tuning references. The PP80 comes ready to use with forty factory presets and includes forty user presets.
