question
Can you explain silent gridcloth ? What would be the diff between this and a normal silk? Thank you!
Grid cloth in general would diffuse the light while focusing it down a bit. In the case of silent grid cloth, that would not produce any sound on your soundtrack when shooting in a windy environment. Other silks may produce a sound when working in the same conditions.
