Sanken COS-11 Overview

The Sanken COS-11 is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed for professional broadcast, theatrical and performance applications. The microphone's omnidirectional pick up pattern enables an even signal response at the direct and indirect sections of the capsule. This allows users to place the microphone in hair or various areas of the body, without signal degradation.

The diaphragm is designed to withstand heavy moisture, humidity and varying temperature. A wide 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response allows the microphone to be used in a wide variety of applications such as vocal, instruments capturing and foley work. A 2.1mm thick cable remains soft, pliable and comfortable after extended use. The microphone features a miniature design for easy concealment in hair and clothing. A maximum SPL rating of 136dB allows high input gain levels without noise from distortion and signal overload.
