Norman Octagonal Softbox (60")
Key Features
  • Pop-Up Design Sets Up in Seconds
  • Opens and Closes Like an Umbrella
  • Removable Front Diffuser
  • Removable Snap-In Inner Baffle
The 60" Octagonal Softbox from Norman is a unique light shaper with a pop-up design that sets up and breaks down like an umbrella in seconds. The softbox accepts grids and has a removable front diffuser and snap-in interior baffle that offer alternatives in contrast or when used together, minimize the hot spot caused by the strobe light source. The reflective silver interior maximizes output while the softbox's large surface area wraps light around the subject, especially when used up close. Another benefit is the natural-looking catchlights that this modifier's shape reflects in the subject's eyes. The 60" Octagonal Softbox comes with a built-in speedring but requires an adapter specific to your flash head's brand.

question

Is there an egg rate grid available for this?
Asked by: Peter S.
There are no egg crates designed specifically for use with the Norman 60 Octagonal Softbox. It is possible that the Impact Fabric Grid for Medium Octagonal Luxbanx (60 ), B&H # IMLBGOM, or the FotodioX Pro Eggcrate Grid (60 ), B&H # FOEGG60OCTEZ, may work for your usage needs. However, as the Norman 60 Octagonal Softbox is a special order item, we have no way to test the above. However, if you wish to purchase either of the egg crates, they are both returnable if they do not work for your usage needs. You would have 30 days from the purchase date to return the item for an exchange or refund if it does not work for your usage needs.
