This $+ stand was rendered useless after one month. The $ clip fixed to the end of the arm broke in short order. Very disappointed. The cheapest quality I have found in many years!
The way they fix the reflector is with the clips. They are able to hold my 5-way reflector over the zipper part. It does not feel super steady, but it does its job. I like the simplicity of the clips and it feels easier to use then other products I have used. The stand can be used by itself as a regular light stand. I use this with my flash and it's pretty handy.
