Norman R4158 reviews

812451 Sync Cable - 15' Straight Male PC to Phono 1/4" Male is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best sync cable I've tried so far Apparently sync cables are not meant to last. I have been through many over the years. They usually develop an electrical open in the cable, usually close to the camera end. They function off and on for a while, then quit all together. As a result, I always have two cables with me; the one I am using and a back up. So, I have been on a quest to find a good cable, giving up the hope that one will last for a very long time. The Norman cable has lasted me the longest. I think I got a couple of years out of this one. That, in the world of sync cables, is great. I just bought a spare, and I hope they will keep lasting as long as the first. If I have to buy one every couple of years, that's not too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Priced This cord is just the perfect length to sync my camera to soffbox making it so I can move freely around my subject. It securely attatches to my camera. It was perfectly priced and arrived within 7 days. I would definately purchase this item again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great! My old cable for my Dynalite kit shorted out not long after I bought my kit. I bought this to replace the shorted cable on short notice before a shoot. It has been completely compatable with my lighting kit, it's like I never had to replace the original. it does miss sync on a few occassions but overall works just as well if not better than expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from price was great but only lasted 2 months I got a great price for these cords but cant understand why neither work already... was in the middle of easter pictures when the first one just stopped working and now the 2nd didnt work when I went to use it so I already have to replace them both

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Quality @ Reasonable Price I had to replace my snyc cord because it wouldn't stay connected to the camera. This Norman sync cord solved the problem perfectly. The PC connection is very tight and never gets pulled off the camera. Money well spent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from PC sleeve broke The sleeve broke off on a hot shoe adapter. Maybe I did use too much force, but I didn't expect it to break off. Otherwise, the cord on the cable and the 1/4 mono plug seemed fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Profoto b 1 Doesn't fix profoto b1 , you need a 3.5 adaptor . My fault as I tried to find the size for the conection and thought it was a 1/4 ...its its 3.5
