Bought a cheap beauty dish and I drilled a few holes in the Adapter to fit the beauty dish ans now it fits my Elinchrom lights. The Norman adapter has enough lip to drill and secure to the beauty dish. Fits the flash securely.

Hi, tell me, pls, what is the outer diameter of this adapter (of the thin flat outer rim)? Me need 144 mm.
This ring would be 143mm as per the manufacturer.

Does this adapter do the same job as Mola Speed Ring for Elinchrom ? According to the manufacturer, Mola beauty dishes are compatible with Speedotron speed ring and I though that maybe Speedotron and Norman speed rings are the same.
Unfortunately, this product does not work with the Mola Beauty Dishes. The appropriate ring for Speedotron flash heads to a Mola Beauty Dish is the Mola Speed Ring for Speedotron B&H # MOSRS. Please see the image.
