A little flimsy.

I shoot food, so there are not many stresses on my soft boxes; however, I had to replace two of these rings after a location job. The lip that fits to the monolight was badly bent on both rings. My assistant and I don't recall any rough handling of the boxes, but it was a little windy at the location, and I'm not certain that the stress on the rings from the force of the wind blowing the boxes didn't cause the rings to deform. They work fine, just be aware that they can be easily bent.

Hi ... will this fit the LH4a head?
This ring is only for the ML400 and ML600 monolights which use a similar fitting to Photogenic monolights. A ring that does fit the LH4A flash head is the Norman Speed Ring Adapter LH500, LH2000 and LH2400 Flash Heads , B&H # NOSRAN. Please see the image below for reference.
