Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent reception from and gain I put these antennas into service for college football broadcasts from various stadium locations. The first location I used them in was very high up in an enclosed stadium. The reception was excellent both from the on field IFB and the wireless antenna. I have been very happy in other applications and these units were cheaper than that of other manufacturers. I have been very happy with the purchase. It's made for flawless reception. Audio Technica makes a great product and these antennas have not disappointed. I would highly recommend them for field applications. I use them in conjunction with a Lectrosonics wireless mic unit and IFB.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non-powered antennas that work as expect I'm using these to throw from 3000 series unipak to back of large sanctuary in order to relay signal to audio gear out of sightline and behind heavy old plaster walls (i.e. I NEED these.) They seem to perform exactly as expected, and are considerably less expensive than some powered ones used previously with an older UHF TOA system. What I learned from some ancillary reading was that if you can get away with non powered antennas like these all the better technically anyway, so these that boost signal passively only slightly less than similar powered antennas are a good plan.Only downside is that like the Model T they come in any color you want, as long as it's black... So that's nice for some venues I'm sure, but I wish they came in off-white like many others do (and that blend better into our sanctuary. Per a discussion someone had with AT Tech Support, they can be painted (with non-metal, i.e. non lead) paint, but that does indeed void warranty... It also would have been nice for them to throw in a couple wall mounts that fit the mic stand fittings these have, but a trip to *and $10 took care of that part of install...
