Can I change the screw head from 1/4 to 3/8 size . Please advise . I had just order the center column from your online shop
Usually, you are able to adapt a 1/4"-20 to a 3/8"-16 via a bushing adapter (see here: https://bhpho.to/3fMX7As and https://bhpho.to/3jGSuZI). As far as we know, that would be the only way to make this short center column a 3/8"-16.

Will this work with the Slik 700DX? What is the diameter of the stanchion itself?
According to Slik's website, the PRO 330 DX short column is for the older PRO 330 DX or PRO 340 DX tripods that don’t have the black center column. It is not compatible for use with the Slik 700DX.
