Yes, the Manfrotto 2-Section Double Articulated Arm with Camera Bracket can support attaching a Web Cam using the 1/4"-20 screw on the Camera Bracket. If your Web Cam has a 1/4"-20 female receiver on it, there will be no problem connecting the two. As this arm is an accessory for the Super Clamp, do not forget to purchase the Super Clamp. Is there a way to mount this onto the edge of a desk?
You may purchase a super clamp such as the Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp with Standard Stud, B&H # MA035RL, or the Impact Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle, B&H # IMCC106R, to connect the Manfrotto 2-Section Double Articulated Arm with Camera Bracket to the edge of an desk as long as the desk is between 0.5" to 2.1" thick.

Are the Manfrotto articulated arms made in Italy or elsewhere (like China)? Thanks for any information.
The one I purchased here says made in Italy. If you zoom in on the photo here on B&H in the middle of the front arm to the right of the Manfrotto logo you can see it has the model number on the top line and made in Italy in the bottom left portion of the box. Look carefully you can read it.
